Why this matters
An effective meeting starts with a reliable door-point list. For each opening, confirm location, function, door and frame construction, existing preparation and the problem the project needs to solve.
What to confirm
Work through six questions: what is each door point; what environment and duty apply; who may open it and when; are hardware and control interfaces compatible; what must be delivered and accepted; and which items remain unresolved.
A practical working method
Circulate drawings, schedules, photographs and requirement clauses before the meeting. During the discussion, distinguish confirmed facts, assumptions, decisions and actions instead of allowing them to merge.
Records, acceptance and handover
Issue a numbered clarification log with an owner and due date for every open item. Update the product schedule only from approved answers and retain the final record with the project documents.
Evidence and scope
This article is intended for preliminary product and project discussions. Product functions, performance, certification, compatibility and availability must be checked against current documentation for the selected model and the actual project requirements. Application examples are not claims of completed customer projects.
